Found this great article by by Jane Johnson B.Com, of the International Life Purpose Institute.

Did you know that only 1% if the population are living out their true life purpose?

Yes it is t that Life Purpose is not something that many people think about often or even could describe clearly but it is one of the most important aspects of our life that we need to clarify. Many are seeking to find fulfillment and success in a variety of different areas. Having a Life Purpose seeks to bring all those areas together in one core mission statement.  If you cannot say you are giving yourself to something really big in your life, you could be missing out on living in line with your true life purpose. Another indicator sign may be that you are feeling unfulfilled in your work or significant parts of your life.
Marcia Bench, author of the best selling book “ Career Coaching”, states in her book: -
” People will tend to experience success and fulfillment in their lives to the extent that they are clear about their life purpose”.

So what is a true Life Purpose?
Colin Salisbury of “Life that Matters” states:-
“Life purpose is a calling, an overall theme for our life or an intent that transcends our daily activities. It is the deep and true quality we are here on earth to develop, the specific type of service we are here to render, the specific way we can enhance or improve some segment of this planet we live on. It is much broader than just having a specific job or career; it pervades through our entire life”.

What are the benefits of Finding your Life Purpose
It becomes a compass to direct you in your right path
Having a life purpose allows you to easily decide which opportunities to take up and which to leave behind. Like a compass it helps you assess your options. Without this guiding star you will be tempted to take up opportunities that will ultimately not lead to your deep and meaning fulfillment.
With a true Life Purpose you will make significant contributions to mankind.
You will be tuning into your special giftings and passions and you will be carrying out what you were designed and destined to do on this earth. No one else can do exactly what you were created to do. Mankind will be a better place when you live this out fully.

Inspiring. Yeah!
